Bavarian Hat & Scoodie Set

Our Bavarian crochet in rows and in the round tutorials have been so popular that we decided it was high time we created a pattern that features those stitch patterns. So when our neighbor asked us to design a hooded scarf for her daughter, we knew just how we wanted it to look!

Bavarian Hat & Hooded Scarf Set

Skill Level: Intermediate.

Finished Size: Toddler (Child, Teen, Woman, Man)

Scoodie Materials:
Color A: 2 (2, 2, 3, 3) skeins Cascade Cherub Aran
Color B: 2 (2, 2, 3, 3) skeins Cascade Cherub Aran
Size H-8 (5.0 mm) crochet hook
Yarn needle

Hat Materials:
Color A: 1 skein Cascade Cherub Aran
Color B: 1 skein Cascade Cherub Aran
Size H-8 (5.0 mm) crochet hook

Special Stitches:
4-bptr cluster. Work a bptr over ea of the next 4 stitches, keeping the last loop of ea bptr on the hook. After the fourth bptr, yo and pull through all 5 loops on the hook. 4-bptr cluster is complete.

5-bptr cluster. Work a bptr over ea of the next 5 stitches, keeping the last loop of ea bptr on the hook. After the fifth bptr, yo and pull through all 6 loops on the hook. 5-bptr cluster is complete.

8-bptr cluster. Work a bptr over ea of the next 8 tr, keeping the last loop of ea bptr on the hook. After the eighth bptr, yo and pull through all 9 loops on the hook. 8-bptr cluster is complete.

4-fptr cluster. Worked the same as 4-bptr cluster, substituting fptr for bptr.

5-fptr cluster. Worked the same as 5-bptr cluster, substituting fptr for bptr.

8-fptr cluster. Worked the same as 6-bptr cluster, substituting fptr for bptr.
